Day #2, 3, 4 - Our Journey Begins

Hello again!  I apologize for not posting any updates for a few days, but we have not had any access to wi-fi since the first day.  Here is a quick overview of what we have been doing:

On Tuesday, we spent all day on an airplane and most of us got hardly any sleep at all.

Wednesday, we finally arrived at about 4:00 in the afternoon.  We were greeted by our relatives Ray and Cathy Buckley.  In honor of the blog, they made this wonderful sign for us:

Translation:  A Hundred Thousand Welcomes, O'Eldredges

Then, we headed down to Wicklow.  It was my parents' first time driving down the left side of the road, and on top of that it was raining. . . .  Luckily, we all survived.  After arriving in Blainroe, we found that our aunt Colette had made a big, delicious dinner for us, which was very kind of her.  (Thanks, Colette!)  When we had finished, we all fell asleep quickly.  I was asleep until 2:30 p.m., so that gives you an idea of how tired we were!

The next day, my dad (Tim) went golfing at Port Marnock with Ter and Shane walking with them.  Shane was kind enough to pick him up and drop him off, which was a huge help.  They can't stop describing how beautiful it was!  Here's a picture of the clubhouse:

After they came home, our family and Shane decided to go out for dinner at McDaniel's.  The food there was absolutely delicious!  And Shane, being ever so kind, declared that it was his treat.

When we were all full, we drove over to Brittas Bay to look for sea glass.  It was so pretty there!  Here are some pictures:

Tonight, we are heading over to Dublin to have dinner at our cousin Tara's house.

We will share more of our adventures later.  Thanks for reading!
